The Proterra cyclocross team requested a kit design for 2023. While maintaining the previous year's smoke texture concept, they wanted to enhance the visibility of the color purple on the shirt. To achieve a grungier cyclocross look, I added a grain texture. For the kit release photoshoot, we chose an abandoned factory as the backdrop, aligning with the cyclocross aesthetic, often set in empty industrial spaces. Inside the factory, a hole in the roof provided ideal spotlighting for the entire team.
